Director of Product Development
Ron Sockwell serves as Director of Product Development at WORD Rock Drills. Known for being cautiously optimistic with a “fun”damentally forward-looking outlook, he brings creativity, technical insight, and a positive perspective to the team every day. He helps bring innovation and improvements to the WORD product line, shaping ideas from sales and leadership into new solutions that keep WORD products competitive, relevant, and built to help customers succeed. Outside of work, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife and family, spoiling his eight grandchildren, keeping them laughing with granddad jokes, and taking on home remodeling projects. He is most proud of being the dad of three amazing kids who have grown into amazing adults.
